Dr. Stephanie Raispis
Dr. Raispis, who owns Wilderness Trace Veterinary Clinic, graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Kentucky in 1987. She attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 1991.
She began her veterinary career at a mixed-animal practice in central Virginia. After five years, she returned to Kentucky with the desire to focus exclusively on small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Raispis is committed to strengthening the animal/human bond through education, dental care and preventative medicine and surgery. She lives in Danville with her three sons. She's active in Boy Scouting, sports boosters and the Catholic Church.
Dr. Lionell Smith
Dr. Smith grew up in rural Woodford County and graduated from the university of Kentucky before going on to Auburn's College of Veterinary medicine. After graduation in 2003, she worked in the Louisville area for 13 years. Dr. Smith then moved back to central Kentucky to be closer to her family and friends. Her professional interests include dermatology and feline medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys arts and crafts and spending time with her multitude of animals.
