At Wilderness Trace Veterinary Clinic, we provide bathing and grooming services throughout the week.
Our skilled grooming team performs complete shave downs as well as scissoring and clipping.
All dog grooming services are available by appointment. You can also schedule grooming services if your dog is boarding with us.

Our groomer has a keen eye and will contact you if she sees any abnormalities while caring for your pet. She will also ask if you’d like to have your pet examined further by our veterinarian.

For the safety of all the pets here at Wilderness Trace Veterinary Clinic, we require proof of your pet’s vaccine history. If fleas are detected on your pet, we will give them a Capstar flea treatment tablet to help us maintain a flea-free clinic. Combined with our high cleanliness standards, this also promotes good hygiene and enhances your pet’s safety.
Required dog vaccinations: Rabies, Bordetella, and DA2 (distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvovirus). Required cat vaccinations: Rabies and Feline distemper.
Since our grooming salon is part of a veterinary hospital, your pet can have its annual examination and receive any vaccinations that are due on the same day as the scheduled groom. If a serious medical condition is detected during your pet’s examination, the veterinarian will reach out to you immediately by phone to discuss the problem and plans for treatment when necessary. If you would like to be present for your pet’s exam, an appointment can be made for an in-patient examination, with your grooming appointment to follow.
